Japanese Lantern

AKA Flower Basket, Thai Cerise moderately strong red with small, brilliant yellow centre. Narrow petals, elliptical, pointed up, twisting downward, narrow strong red band on back. The flower clusters get quite large and full. Bright red on stalks that cascade downward. Long narrow petals that reflex back. Sweet fragrance. Medium small tree. Hard to root as the branches die back after cutting
